Mohammed’s Electrical Coaching Academy
The Mohammed’s Electrical Coaching Academy based in Aranguez Trinidad, was established 28years ago, in 1993, by the founding members of Mohammed’s Electrical Company Ltd.
The objective of the camp is to provide a positive outlet of activity for the youth within the El Socorro and San Juan Communities, through the avenue of sport. It has since grown to include members across Trinidad.
The camp focuses on the self mastery associated with sporting development and includes boys and girls of several age groups. It has always been centered around the creation of well balanced, disciplined and successful individuals.
Members range in age groups from 5 to 17 and graduate through the coaching academy as they grow and develop.
Between January and July, the focus is on Cricket and this switches to Football during the months of September to December.
Many have gone on to represent Trinidad and Tobago at national skill levels.
In 2020, the Academy was proud to receive two selections to the Trinidad and Tobago National Under 17 Boys’ Cricket team – Abdul Raheem Toppin and Samir Saroop. A third member, Arshad Harrilal was also selected as a reserve to the squad.
Students are taught self discipline, teamwork, time management, public speaking, presentation abilities, dress and conduct amongst others.
